Of the calls you do answer, how many turn into paid work?

of work at risk on the calls nobody picks up. That is about 16 missed calls a week, and roughly 3.2 jobs a week that might have become paid work had someone answered.

Break-even is measured in gross profit, not revenue: one recovered job that leaves you more than $49 after the job’s own costs covers the base subscription, before any usage above the 120 included talk minutes.

How the estimate works

Calls per week times your missed share gives missed calls. Missed calls times your close rate gives the jobs those calls might have become. Jobs times your average ticket gives lost revenue per week, and a month is 52 weeks divided by 12. That is revenue, not profit: what you keep from a recovered job is revenue minus the cost of doing it.

The starting missed-call share comes from an Invoca home-services study and the other defaults are a worked example, both published in our guide on the cost of missed calls. They are a starting point for your own numbers, not a claim about your business.
